Whats been going on...

The past few months have been exciting for me. As far as performing goes, I have made new friendships up at the Ft. Campbell Army base in Kentucky. I grew up in a Navy family, so it has always meant a lot to me to be able to give back to the military. I was able to perform at a Family Fun Day in the fall and then again when the Vice President of the United States came to visit. I have really enjoyed meeting the soldiers and staff up there, and they love country music!!!! I am gearing up for another performance there next week at the Hail and Farewell ceremony.

I also recently performed "Here" at a wedding in Montgomery, AL for a beautiful couple with a great story. They first heard "Here" on the Paula Deen Wedding special, and it became their song. The groom contacted me wanting to surprise his bride and have me perform "Here" as their first dance. It was so sweet and her reaction was sooo worth the trip. Everyone there was quite hospitable and it meant a lot to be a part of their big day.

As far as the future goes, I am looking forward to recording some new songs just as soon as I can. I will also have the full length cd including "Here" for sale from the website and at shows pretty soon. So keep checking back!
